New Head Of ALPHERA Financial Services In The UK From February 2021

• Preston Rogers will become Director for ALPHERA Financial Services in the UK effective from 01 February 2021
• After five years in role, current Director of ALPHERA, Spencer Halil will move to become Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) for Alphabet (GB) Limited from February 2021
• ALPHERA will celebrate 15 years in the UK in 2021. Both Halil and Rogers have played instrumental roles in developing the business since its introduction in 2006

ALPHERA Financial Services today announces that Preston Rogers will join the business in the new year as the company’s new Director for ALPHERA in the UK. Rogers will replace Spencer Halil who will join Alphabet (GB) Limited as their new Chief Commercial Officer. Both appointments are effective from 01 February 2021 and subject to approval from the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).

Rogers, currently General Manager for Digital, Sales Channels & Insurance for BMW Group Financial Services, brings a wealth of UK and international experience in motor finance, automotive retailing and new digital business channels. Rogers is no stranger to the ALPHERA business, having previously been involved with the BMW Group’s award-winning independent financial services division in both the UK and South Africa.

Current Director for ALPHERA, Spencer Halil, will move within the BMW Group to take over from Simon Carr as Chief Commercial Officer for Alphabet. Halil has headed up ALPHERA’s UK business for the past five years and overseen a period of phenomenal growth, as well as market-leading innovations such as the accreditation partnership to improve industry standards with the Institute of Motor Industry (IMI) and the recent ALPHERA Zero carbon-offset finance product.

Both Halil and Rogers have been instrumental to the development of ALPHERA Financial Services in the UK market since its introduction in 2006. Halil led the business previously between 2008 and 2011, while Rogers played a significant role during this time in helping to build the base for the company’s success. In 2021 ALPHERA will celebrate its fifteenth year of operation in the UK, on the back of another year of record-breaking results for the BMW Group-owned business.
