Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Partners With Renowned Artist To Offer A Unique Sensory Experience

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars may be world famous for its heritage in making some of the most beautiful and sought-after cars on the planet but its pleasant assault on the senses doesn’t stop with vehicles alone.

ALPHERA's partner also pioneers its unique Arts Programme, a celebration of its shared philosophy with modern contemporary art and a commitment to encouraging creativity. It recently partnered with the museum of modern and contemporary art, Fondation Beyeler, to offer members of the public the unique opportunity to experience an artistic concept by one of the world’s leading contemporary artists, Pipilotti Rist.

The Rolls-Royce Motor Cars-backed instillation was entitled Tender Roundelay and consisted of 23 kaleidoscopic projections that shone down from the ceiling on 46 round tables within the space. Using footage taken from Rist’s vast archive of visual material the resulting film treated visitors to a show to delight all the senses as they relaxed, ate, drank and chatted while they enjoyed the experience.
